Auction Timing - I stand corrected. The domain just needs 21 days (3 weeks) of registration on it. It can not have a new auction started for 60 days after one completes which is the stat that I got mixed up.

Make Offer - Yes we do. I don't have a date, but would guess Dec/Jan.

Nameserver Speed - This is very much TLD specific and mostly depends on how quickly a TLD publishes updates its zone within the DNS system.

Refunds not processed: We did a manual audit of our system when we discovered an issue back in April of this year where about 10 customers had renewed expired domains and the renewal did not process correctly. The root cause was latency during a database migration that we did not expect so the scope was very small. The type of payment method did not have an impact on this. We replied to the customer who submitted the ticket and proactively reached out to each of the ~9 other customers affected to make the situation right. I have personally worked with each customer who replied to our message.

If you have domains at Sav you should keep an extra special eye on them. Check regularly to make sure you even still own the domains you think you own, because you may not.

I've encountered many problems at Sav, but this is on a whole other level of unbelievable.

I renewed 5 domains with Sav in one transaction, which they took full payment for via Paypal. Then I come to find out months later that they went ahead and auctioned two of the domains off as if they were never renewed (I suspect they actually auctioned all 5 but the 3 lesser quality names went unsold).

When I filed a support ticket they basically put me off for about two months before finally refunding my money with no explanation as to why I didn't get my domains back in my account. It's shameful.
Same thing is happening to me except not on renewals. I had won 4 IO domains on different days. Around $300-$500 each. They charged my card, but the domains were never put into my account. I checked the whois and the domains are all registered at a different registrar. I have reached out to support 10 days ago and they keep giving me the ole "We've escalated your request to a Subject Matter Expert within Sav, who will look deeper into the request". All I want is a refund for the domains I was charged for, but I guess they need a Subject Matter Expert to do this and it takes weeks for it to happen. Still waiting for the refund.

Is happening? Or did happen (Sav said this was a one time thing back in Apr). Are you saying it is currently happening?

I won these auctions about 1-2 months ago.

Oh, you seem to be talking about something else other than Sav not renewing your name.

What happened to the names you won at Sav auction 1-2 mos ago?

I'm unfamiliar with the case, but if you want to DM me your email address and ticket number, I would be happy to take a look and get back to you, and update this thread with the resolution.

@Nick R

Please check ticket #361368.

Hello,

my ticket remains parlty unresolved 13 days after I created it.

I think there is some problem with .uk domains.
They are not resolving.
I strongly advise to look for the root of the problem. not just fix mine

Sav is now offering 3% off if you pay by bank transfer. Makes it $7.71 new .com hand regs.

Thats correct! Just be sure you are logged into Sav, and THEN add domains to your cart for it to work properly.

Will this apply only for new registrations?

What about transfers, renewals, backorders and auctions?

Will you provide us the option to deposit funds in account with 3% discount to use them later?

Currently yes, but we are working on expanding this to everywhere on Sav in the coming months.

Yes! Soon.

Still no one has contacted me.
20 days today, since the creation of the ticket.

I still have domains that are not resolving at all.

Shouldn't you provide some refund for the period a domain is unusable because of you?

PS: yesterday I received 4 replies to tickets I opened in May and June:ROFL:

Needless to say that there is still no development in my ticket...

-Today I noticed the following.
A domain I won in the auctions 1+ month ago, was added to my account!

Expiration Date Added to Account Date Purchase Date
08/29/2025 10/17/2024 09/07/2024

-In other news, some of the domains I m winning in auctions appear with Purchase Price = 0

So, how are these 2 connected?

Often the system fails to complete an auction at is should, and the domains remain in SAV's account.
Best case.
They notice that and they push the names manually to your account
Then the Purchase Price appears as 0, like all internal domain transfers.
Worst case.
They notice that 1+ month later, or even never...
