Hello NamePros community! We are creating a single thread where we can share announcements in, talk about product updates, people can ask questions and host a great discussion on all things domains!

I know you can be contrarian (e.g. not liking Dynadot), but you must be in an extreme minority for being happy with Savnot so much need escalating.

Looks like I was wrong about how they handle the days/month in the renewals.
However, all domain auction houses automatically renew the domain names they auction. But the renewal is tentative/temporary. It's not set in stone.
Look up other domain names in auction and the same thing applies. For instance, the domain name kakikong.com is up for expired auction on GoDaddy. Yet the Whois already shows a 2026 expiration date.
My assumption was that there'd be a change in the expiration date once the auction concludes and the renewal becomes permanent. That was a wrong assumption.
So the domain name you won could have been renewed or still maintaining the pre-auction data.
From @pb's explanations, it looks like the domain name has actually been renewed. So, all that's left is for Sav to push it to your account.
All registries give an about 40 days autorenew period without payment just after expiration in favor of registrant (and registrar). At these 40 days renewal fee is normal for registrar to registry (even if some registrars ask for more from registrants after some days).
So registrars that auction expired names, start at about 30th day of expiration (still in autorenew period) and waiting for bids. If there is winner at auction, they renew the name with normal fee and put at winner's account, if no winner name goes to redemption period after 40th to 45th day for exactly 30 days.
yes noticed it as well, i just described the general procedure for expired auctionssav names go exp auction day 30. if no bid or if bid they never go back to your panel again.
before months back if no bid they went back to u for like 10 or 20 day
I am moving all domains out from sav to dynadot, tired of constant bugs and crappy service
After 1.5 months, I finally got the domainWon an expired domain at auction, paid, but did not receive the domain, 10 days have passed, the problem is still not resolved
Has Sav.com Just become a scam website?
Important review for all Sav customers:
I have had pending funds for nearly a month. Every attempt to withdraw my balance fails with an error message stating that the site is unable to process the withdrawal.
I contacted customer support, and their only response has been repeated apologies and requests for patience, blaming “server issues.” No actual solutions have been provided.
My funds are still being held, and other customers may also be affected.
It is unacceptable for a company to be incapable of fixing such a critical issue—one that directly damages its reputation and customer trust.
I demand that a company representative respond directly with a clear and specific timeframe for when withdrawals will be processed, instead of these ongoing delays.

Iuse PayPal to receive my payments.
The issue is that they haven’t paid me my money for a month.
I have contacted them many times, but they haven’t offered any real solutions—only apologies and requests to be patient.
There is obvious manipulation from their side… What are they doing with my money, or with other clients’ funds?!
I get an error message (Unable to process payout because: Unknown reason, contact support)did u get payout confirmation email???
did your balance go to zero???
u did tax form?
usa?

The customer support said the following " The recent confirmation that we received from our developer and tech team is that they are still trying and working with Tipalti, our payout processor, to resolve this "
It has been a month without any solutions, so I decided to publish this review to warn customers about what is happening. There is manipulation or something unclear going on !!
