Safe transfer?

I need some advice from the Pros. I recieved a large offer(for me anyway) for a domain I have parked at NameDrive. I am looking for the safest route possible to transfer.

I don't post much but have read alot of horror stories about scammers lately. This would be my first substantial sale :red:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

get real contact information from the buyer, as much as possible this will discourage scam.
request verified paypal and much better have the transaction gone thru escrow.com ( usually split the fees)

From seller points of view. I think get wire transfer or cash and then push the domain the safest one.

For safety of Buyer and seller both. Escrow.

For only buyers safety get the domain name first and check if it isn't stolen or anything and then pay him via a crossed check

What is "large"? Is that in the $xx, $xxx, $x,xxx, $xx,xxx?

Escrow seems to be the way to go.
