Hi all,
I seems like I have been gone for ages. I am from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and many of you know we were hit by hurricane Katrina Aug.29th. Things are just now getting back up and going, hence the internet! We just got it back yesterday. I never thought I would live to see a natural diaster such as this. The devastion around my community was surreal. It looked as if we had been in a war zone. Homes are completely gone and all that remains is the slab that they sat on. Thankfully we all have our lives though. Homes can be rebuilt and replaced, lives can not.
I just wanted to say hi to everyone and let some of you that have helped me so much in the past with web issues and such, know that we had made it through Katrina and are getting our lives back to some normalcy. (Kids started schoold just this week! Thank God!). I am sure once things simmer down some more I will be back posting some more newbie ?'s. I have two web sites to work on, but no time to do so right now, but when I do, I am sure I will need alll of your advice and input.
Thanks to all and God Bless you,
Nikki
P.S. The only fatality we suffered during Katrina was our beloved family pet, Betty (my profile pic) God must have knew the suffering in the aftermath would be great so he took her early, that is the only thing I can think of to ease my grief
