That is good for us, .tv. However, I thought info would be a little higher and I would put it at #4. I don't buy info but based on sales it seems to be doing OK.

Pretty decent placement for those who value his opinions.

But I am beginning to realize that it is how a domain name and its extension is developed and marketed that gives it importance.

And it is what the enduser feels is the value of his domain as well.

I think my rankings are pretty close to his, putting .tv higher than .net.

Yea im loving .org more and more to be honest.. .net is like a poor mans .com where as .org has a place all on its own... and I still think .info has yet to find its perfect place for names of information around the net...

He's probably right based on recent sales and some past sales.

.tv seems to be doing pretty well these days.

I like them both and for very different reasons.. But I dont think they can be compared really

Most end users would rank .com and .net - #1 and #2. From there, you are not going to see many businesses build out .org. I think .tv has a good shot of being #3 and long term overtaking .net. I don't think we are there today. However, investment is about predicting the future. Domainers might build out .org, but it has a connotation that limits universal development.

For me, I buy .net for today, .tv for tomorrow

.TV could move up to #2 if Verisgn/Demand Media every get rid of those overpriced renewals.
