Role of PR in submission

What is the role of PR of the sites on which we are submitting our website links? Do this effect the ranking of our site?

Basically, if you are looking for pr sites to submit?
You are wasting your time.
Most sites with pr have it on the main page only.
Thus, submitted links are on interior pages with no pr.
And a lot of sites now use no follow for any links on their pr pages.
And then, google is slowly eliminating pr.
And last point, search this forum for tons of posts on this same subject.
