Wow, he sure has the Midas touch ! Congrats Rick :bingo:

I'm surprised they didn't say it went for $10 million+ ... it would probably

have gotten alot of free press as the " highest price ever paid for a

domain name
".
Previous .com domain name sales have already sold for over $10 million dollars

I am thinking it went for "reg fee", and it is all just hype.

Sad to see this, but I think the "king" has lost a step or two in his old age. Everybody knows that the REAL MONEY is in the new tld's like .me and .asia, and a few other "special" tld's like .ws that have demonstrated lasting value. :D

c'mon Rick, get with the times. ;)

That is a huge name... He wouldn't let it go unless the offer was substantial... I congratulate him on the sale, and am inspired every time I read about these success stories.

I think it was listed at bigticketdomains for about 15 million, so since Rick does not need the money to the same degree as the typical domainer guessing 10M would be the number.

Nice sale, love that name... wouldn't mind it in any extension :D

Worth every penny imo.

I think it would have been more than 10 million, if Rick's previous sales are an indicator.
