There were many reports of that sale, on Namepros and elsewhere. Domain was sold for $1.8 million up front, plus another $1.8 million in payments over a few years. Here is one of the Namepros threads about that sale.

I remembered that sale, so was a little befuddled to see this new report of the same domain name.

I have searched and have not found any articles saying that the 2021 sale did not go through; can anyone enlighten me?

But still redirecting to him and was the same story as his ‘Properties’ and 'Property' domains, which the latter supposedly sold for $36 million.

I believe this sale is legit, as the domain as actually moved and been reported to Ron (proved) but am sceptical of a lot Rick comes out with.

My guess is that the 2021 buyer renegotiated or defaulted and then another buyer came along. The originally-announced $3.6 million may have included the value of some stock at the time, or another creative aspect of the deal.

After checking archive.org, bestodds.com was developed in 2021 November, so a buyer there was for sure.
