Considering that sex.com worth only $15 mln i thing 8 mln for porno.com is overpaid in 8 times at least. I thing Rick is great domainer not because he holds great names, only because he sells them at great price imho.

There is difference between domain reseller/flipper and domain investor for reason

1. Buyer is from Europe where Porno is actual word in any language.
2. The Europe has the oldest tradition in this industry in the world.
3. Porno has the biggest search volume in this niche!
4. Porno.com made 10M on traffic
5. You need to understand how much money this industry generate.

This domain worth more!

I bet he gets better offers in the past but he reject all because domain was make ton of money on monthly basis. Now when we don't see this monster sales anymore and traffic revenue is drop he decide to sell it for decent offer.
