Reviews on Good hosts (Price not an issue)

Hi,

I was hoping to have your reviews and opinions on good hosts.
I've read a few threads about Dreamhost and hostgator and they are cheap - but seem to have quite a bit of downtime and slow customer support.
So if you can recommend these or any others i'd be very interested to hear about them.

I havent had a problem with Hostgator myself.
Another one i can recommend is ASmallOrange.

Are you only in the 'market' for resellers?

What are your requirements? How much disk space and bandwidth are you looking for?
DH and HG are on the overselling side. So if you are looking for such a business model, it will be a good choice to try.
But, if your requirements are less, there i no point in looking at hosts who offer 10 or 100 times what you need.

I've had my domain down once, in a year, with Hostgator. The big plus for me was their 24x7 phone support, which is invaluable under certain circumstances.

Yeah. It's time for a website for reviewing the review websites too as most of them are rubbish with affiliate links.
So when you look for a new hosting, the best place to research will be forums like namepros and wht.
There you will be able to see some honest reviews.

I think steadfast.net is great and reliable...support tickets are answered within 24 hours most time instantly....

Nettigritty.com are also great..I used to use them and never had a downtime...They know their stuff and not so outrageous prices...Support is great and is resolved immediately...

Thanks for all your replies. I've found the same problem with review sites - they're everywhere.
Hopefully i'll meke the right choice.
