The black background is a little harsh on the eyes, people can't stay focused for very long.

I think you could make it look just as good with a lighter background. You need to think about the kinds of people you are trying to attract to your website. If you were making a punk rock web site the dark colors might be ok, but you have a webmaster related site and the types of people you will be bringing to your site are every day people.

Just my thoughts...

i like the combination of colors for fonts and backgrounds, setting the ambiance for enchanted blog entries and the use of wordpress as the blogging software added some points for spam comments blockage and control. wtg

I would agree the colors are way too dark. Not only are they dark but you are mixing colors that do not match. You have pink and black that match and turquoise and black that match, but turquoise, pink and black do not match. Lighten it up and maybe make the background color a light grey.

im a fan of dark color, imho the black color makes the pink color standout. i like colorfull website . Thanks for the comment, i really appreciate it.
