I am back domaining after stopping years ago. I am eager to learn what has changed in the industry and making adjustments accordingly.

No I didn't come back for the new gTLDs. I might buy one if any. I actually lost a bunch of money back when the .mobi speculation was high. I didn't have the time to build them out which was my plan. Buy and hold was a bad strategy and I end up dropping all the domains.
I left domaining because of a bad experience with one affiliate program where I wasn't getting credited for my sales. So I got skeptical of all affiliate programs and quit. I should have never stopped completely and just kept the ones with a good ROI.
I came back to domaining because I sold a few domains in the past and as long as I keep my domain addiction under control, I'll have more fun this time around. Domains are virtual real estate. I rather Buy Low, Sell High as an investment from the comfort of my own home than with physical property. So my plans is to sell some of my domains (land), develop websites (build buildings), and sell leads from certain websites that I build traffic to (sell billboard ads on side of building). I'd rather skim through dropped domain lists than walk through REO foreclosure properties with mold and leaky roofs.
