Resubmitting to Google?

I just purchased a few domains that are old, and have already been indexed by google. But since they were first registered in the late 90's, they have just been parked. Now I am planning on developing the sites. Should I resubmit to google?

Wait until they are developed.

Why wait? What advantage is there to waiting?

Google seems to like change. If you are actively building your website, submit as soon as possible. As long as you have no dead links, the constant activity is more likely to help you than hurt you.

Ok, I was under the impression if it was on google, then don't submit it.

if you're not getting anything from parking, then i'd suggest that you start developing your site sooner rather than later. i'm not sure what you'd be "resubmitting to google" since you're already indexed and it's a parked page anyway...

I have the same dilemma. In the early days hensparties.com was ranking number 1 for hens parties. But I think there were a few no-no's being done to achieve the rank of 1. Maybe the competition had it blackbanned by google?

Anyhow, I now own it, but it ranks dead last these days. It's currently parked, but why would I bother to develop it if is probably on some no-show list? How do you resubmitt etc?

It should rank number 1 as it once did. I know it did. I saw it 10 years ago personally at 1

Resubmit? Throw away? Any clues?

google doesn't usually place parked pages high in the serps with the blind faith that it will convince the domain owner to become a webmaster. if anything, it's the other way around.

the "no-show" list is always changing with domains going on, and yes, even off the list. but if you want to get back on, then you should develop the domain and then submit a reinclusion request.

I got a domain thru namejet. Spent a lot of time adding contents, but it is banned. I had submitted "reconsideration" many times, it is still banned. I don't know what the previous owner did to it, but it has been almost over 6 months, if you search "site:xxxdomain" google still returns nothing. Any advice?

Do you have any links pointing to it?
Did you not accidentally blocked all robots from accessing your site?

If you develop a parked page that's not indexed because it's parked, there's probably no need to bother with a reinclusion request - develop it, get a couple of links to it and Google will pick it up, re-evaluate it and index it. Watch your site in Google's Webmaster Tools to make sure there are no warnings or problems flagged there. If you've fixed everything you can fix and Googlebot is visiting the site but weeks go by and you're STILL not in the index, THEN submit the reconsideration request.

It's always a risk with "pre-owned" domains. Did you check your site against Google's webmaster quality guidelines item by item before submitting the reconsideration request? There's more to it than just content.
