Question on Google Base Names

Google announced their Google Base last year. At the time many called it a future ebay killer. It hasn't done much since then. But I don't count Google out on this. It could be the basis for a real competitor to ebay and other classified ad sites. There are a zillion things they can do with an online database.

I'm curious what your opinions are about Google Base because when they announced it I purchased about a dozen "Base" names. If Google Base takes off, they could be worth something. Time for renewal for them and I have to consider how many to keep.

What are your thoughts?
