[REQ-LOGO] Geeks $120 3 Prizes

Type of Contest : LOGO Design - Geeks(.)pro

Prizes : 1st: $70.00, 2nd: $30, 3rd: $20 (Paypal Only)

Contest End Date & Time : One Week. Ends April 15th, Noon Central Time. Sooner if the Winners are choosen.

Size/File Requirements : 500px Width x 300px Height (I can scale it), White background, transparent background for uses elsewhere. Would need it as a .psd as well.

Color Requirements : Take a look at the site geeks(.)pro, I like the blues and greens used there. However, Feel free to stray a bit if you believe you can integrate it to the site better. Keep in mind the main page image will change. Green is: #036938, Blue is: (don't have the hex code, please check site to eyedrop)

General Requirements : Geeks(.)Pro is a new Tech Support company. Words used to describe logo: Professional, Modern, And maybe just a little Geeky. Please no Tag lines, just the name of the domain should be the only words in it. The rest I leave up to your artists impression

Additional Information : This one should be pretty easy (yet challenging) as the name is short, but it needs to project professionalism. I don't want to see nerd glasses in all the designs, those were put up on the site as just something to add. We have 3 prizes here of pretty decent money, this is so more people can get something by submitting a design and putting some time in. Pretty much all of us are geeks in some way, so lets see what you come up with, the more original the better! I will be giving as much feedback as possible throughout. I would like to thank all those in advance for participating, I really appreciate your time!!!

Added Bonus : ***FILLED, Thank You!*** The first 8 individual user entries will recieve 25np$ just for submitting a design. Even if you aren't a designer you may get the ideas flowing and 25NP$ for your trouble!

umxca: Interesting idea with the <> but Im not sure Im liking it so far with that font.

wmcode: Thanks for taking the time to create an entry, it is a bit simplistic, but hey with only 3 entries so far your in the $$

sf2010: The first seems a bit too simplistic, doesn't seem very professional. For the second one it looks a lot like creeks.com. I see what looks like a pac man?

I guess to help narrow it down Im looking for like a patch or badge that has the site name. Hope this helps.

Tanay: Thanks for the submissions. I think I like the Geeks in the quote box the best of the three. Also the head is cool as well. So far your in the lead.

I like what you have done with it a lot. This design is in the lead. It would even be hard to choose between the three examples you have submitted, thanks!

Is it possible to see the .pro in a different font? Mostly out of curiosity more than anything else. Also how about the ee lines and box in the blue?

Ookie: not a bad design, but for the logo it looks like an old CRT monitor, can you make it so the Geeks.pro is on a wide screen LCD?

evtimii: That looks good, I like it a lot, but we made need to tweek the colors just a bit if you win.

Only one more 25np$ entry left, the next design gets it!
