It is my personal opinion that reserve auctions done forums style should not be allowed to take place. :td: It's like baiting buyers. The seller can say there's a reserve until he/she sees a price that suits them. It's a waste of time, and it drives me crazy when I see a reserve price set at a forum.
I'm mean really... if a seller wants to take offers, there a forum for that!
Perhaps if there was a way to make sure that the reserve was "set" and couldn't be changed it would be different... but until then, it just gives people an excuse to drag out auctions needlessly to milk as much money as they can... and that is NOT the point of an auction.
Am I the only one that feels this way?
