Type of Contest : Logo Re-Design

Prize : $35

Contest End Date & Time : September 15th 2010

Size Requirements : Scalable for tee-shirts, web & print.

Color Requirements : Anything goes, prefer orange and/or green.

General Requirements :
This is a logo for my fishing website. I'm a fisherman and web designer by trade. I'd like something brandable and fresh.

Maybe something with a fish attacking a lure, or something of the sorts. Preferably a bass.

I like the idea of having a lure in the logo, or a silhouette of a fisherman, fishing pole, etc.

Anything goes, impress me :)

Additional Information :

I'm a web designer by trade, so if I'm really impressed there could definitely be steady future work for the right person.

This is our current logo:

I like the blocky letters, but I'm really open to anything.

Contest ends in 2 weeks. If no logo is to be used by me the $35 prize will be awarded to the best design (in my opinion).

The end date is 15th September.. I don't think people are going to start submitting just yet.

Why's that, too much time? I figured the more time, the more time I have to go back and forth with people.

It is a bit of a long time. If I have stuff to do and your contest ends on the 15th I might find time do it it say around the 12th but if it ended on say the 8th I'd consider doing it now. At least that's how I see it. I'm not telling you to change the end date because those who do have a lot of free time will most probably post now and then you'll have a lot of time to go back and forth with people as you suggested. Just giving you a reason why you have had no submissions yet. Speaking for myself, I'll probably submit around the 10th-12th ;)

dlight - I like it! I like the concept of the guy pulling out a fish, however I would see this as more of a tee shirt.

I'm not too keen on the text. Would like more of a logo that I could put the fishing guy on.

Please save this - as I will be in touch for a tee shirt design.

Thanks!

Dave

I still like the concept, I just don't think it's fitting for a logo. Like I said, I'm definitely interested in this for a tee shirt.

I think for the logo I'd like maybe a fish near the K, and maybe a rod and reel from the B with the fish attached.

I don't really know, that's why it's a contest :)

Thanks again for your revision.

Are you able to get me a 300DPI black and white when I'm ready to do shirts?

Thanks,
Dave

hafsa - thanks for the submissions.

dlight - I like that design, but not quite what I'm looking for.

I think I'm looking for a more slick, but professional logo I can use to brand my website and products.

Keep em coming :)

I like it, but it seems as if it is more of a tropical fish. At first glance people may not be able to understand it says Boondock either.

Very creative though!

Keep em coming!
