Payment received for Vibe // Code // Ai (.) com

Price: $4,319 BIN
Venue: Atom
Hold time: Around 6 months
Cost: 1 euro
(Nominalia offer)

I'm glad I could spot the VibeCoding trend early on (I even started a thread that went nowhere), and registered the best 10 names I could find. This is one of that batch.

I'm also glad a couple of days before the sale I raised the price from 3k. It was listed as premium, so I paid 30% commission to Atom, which is a LOT. I wonder if this domain wouldโ€™ve sold just as easily as a standard or if it being premium really made a difference. This is the kind of name people type directly into their browsers.

I also own Vibe // Coding // AI (.) com. Atom is suggesting me to submit it to premium, but I won't. I am confident the name can sell as standard, as most serious buyers are probably typing it in directly into their browsers. Let's see how that goes.

This is my second domain sold on Atom. I'm quite happy, as for a long time I just left my investment portfolio sitting there, only renewing annually and not really paying much attention to it. However, 2 sales within about 1 month have woken me up to this market.

A little about this domain - I purchased it on Namepros in 2021. After 5 renewals, I've finally sold it. The price was lower than expected, but this domain is related to the SEO industry, which I assess is currently experiencing a lot of volatility, so I think this might be the last opportunity to sell this domain.

#FunFact right after this 12.5K sale i had sold next domain via afternic
f/o/r/r/e/s/t/a/p/p/l/i/a/n/c/e/r/e/p/a/i/r d/o/t c/o/m for just 125. previously buyer via inbound mail shared his financial issues and that he once owned this domain and really wanted it back for his company but he didnt have much beyond 100 he seemed genuine so i told him i will let it go for 125 via afternic to cover the fees. i had handregged and intended for outbound but i forgot to outbound so had one renewal too. in the end sold for just 125 after cost of handreg plus one renewal.

Sharing this old sale with the hope it will lead to new sales ๐Ÿ˜„

1 month HT.

Happy the domain is in use.

The buyer made the first installment payment then I convinced them to pay a lower price so as to pay in full.

I had this sale of an Atom Premium name a bit over a week ago. Atom reported the sale to NameBio and it is listed (I have listing to NameBio set to on).
UltraThinkAI.png

I had multiple inquiries via whois. even though it had active lander, so sent direct link which reduces commission to 15%. I could not negotiate or sell outside as per terms.
  • Inbound
  • BIN no negotiation
  • hold time about 6 months
  • hand registration
I probably undersold this name, maybe by a lot, and can see this end up used as a major brand, but I am happy to get a return.

I was very late to the .ai party, kept thinking it would slow, and the costs to hold are so great. This is literally the first .ai name that I registered, and the first to sell. I had 5 .ai in total at the time of this sale, have since acquired 2 (update) more so back to 6 (update) now in my portfolio. My other 4 are single words, most priced significantly higher than this was.

For this brandable, I searched hundreds of names seeking a base word of think, logic or maybe smart. Almost everything already taken. Finally I landed on this name, and ultra is a great prefix, and liked it immediately. I waited overnight to feel sure, then registered it.

This name had indicators of interest, almost always in top 10 of my Atom popularity, often in second place, and had two people visit the lander multiple times in month prior to sale. I have no idea of buyer or plans for the name.

After I saw interest in name, I did spice up presentation a bit adding a billboard and office AI generated images to the logo, and adding one of those sound ads for the name.

When I acquired this name, I also protected it with getting the same term+AI in .com, and the term in .si (seemed a nice name for superintelligence) and term+SI in com, and the .io. I am not sure what I will do with these now.

No other information, please.

My first half 5 months of 2025 was terrible. This sale, and a few others last couple of months, gave me breathing room on renewals and a few acquisitions.
