Hi all -- I'm new here. This is my second post, the first being my most recent sale which I posted above ^^. I'm excited to get more involved here at NamePros.

I'm not going to go back and share a bunch of old sales, but figured I'd share my FIRST domain sale from 8 years ago. I was very excited at the time and didn't have anyone to share it with, so here we go...

Details: I don't recall why I even bought this specific domain...it was one of 4-5 domains that I purchased when I first learned that domain names had a secondary market. I bought it, didn't know anything about listing it for sale, and forgot about it. Got a cold email from the buyer offering $2,000, which I accepted immediately. He held my hand through the Escrow and transfer process and we got it done!

Fun Fact: I started listening to the Domain Sherpa podcast a few years later as I started actually learning about domain investing. The Sherpas used to do listener portfolio reviews, and they reviewed the portfolio that included this domain name. Apparently I can't include a link, so you can search "domain sherpa 20170807" if you want to check it out.

Looks like the guy who bought it from me was putting together a portfolio of autonomous vehicle domains.

Anyway, looking forward to interacting with fellow domainers!

I bought this name in 2021 here on NP for $140 plus transfer fee. The domain had been regged through 2029 and my transfer made the expiration go to 2030.

Just under 4 years sitting on the shelf, it sold! Funds received.
