Buyer offered $110 on Nov 19, countered at 7000 - it was priced at 9699 at that time. About two weeks ago I started a year-end sale that ends tomorrow. Yesterday morning buyer made three increasing offers - $900, 950, then 1100, commenting on last one 1100 is their max budget. Accepted and funds received by Godaddy yesterday.

I believe it was a BIN purchase on SnapNames. Would have to check my records.

I feel that outbound of personal names is a bit of a grey area. I targeted individuals who shared the name, and have some kind of web presence, but were not branding themselves with the name (or famous for it). In the end, I really don't know if my outbound efforts led to the sale. I may have a better idea if a site is developed or redirected to the name.

I'd assume very popular last name + popular first name combo. Probably tens of thousands of Tyler Jones out there.
