This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Don't usually post sales

sold one of my LLL.com via DNS contact page - closed via sedo escrow $45,000

1st offer $9k
responded with $45k
2nd offer $15k
responded with $45k
3rd offer $20k
responded with $45k

Buyer then imsged asking why the high price - a facetime call resulted in a sold at $45k went via sedo's ext domain escrow service.

Took around 10 days to close - I have a few others needing my attention on sedo closing at my $1888 pricing.

Cheers

ic ic well I'm just learning. I wish I could mention my domain here. but this post is about reporting domain prices not giving appraisal. would it be alright to post my long tail domains here since this is where I found a long tail like VancouverPropertyListings.com. Can someone please PM me so I can get honest value opinions for my longtail domains? hope this is even ok to ask. thanks. I think I've landed on a really good $xx,xxx Gem like.

JacksonHoleRealEstate.com for $85,000
http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2015/20150429.htm

if as you say that the reason this domain sold was because of the median real estate prices in Vancouver then I wonder what the value of a domain would be for an area that fetches or will fetch for over $1 million to $2 million MINIMUM?

And this "area" is in NYC and is being Dubbed as the Silicon Valley of the East? plus expensive condominiums and where all the hipsters will flock to and it's directly across the river from NYC with I think the best view of NYC?

curious? hit me up privately. But I think also I will start a brand discussion about my domains too. Thanks!

sold bao(dot)io for 300$ on flippa.Had an initial offer of 250 to which I responded with 500.Finally the buyer refused to go over 300
Couldnt appraise the name on my own so decided it was best to let it go.

You can list all of your domains on flippa in their domain catalogue for free. If someone finds your name in search results they can make an offer. I had 11 domain catalogue sales in 2015 on flippa

wow! ok! I could find this out on my own but since your an expert.... is it possible to "piggyback" to your featured paid domain auction on flippa all your other Flippa listing that aren't featured auctions? including the ones their domain catalogue?

that being said can this also be done in with Godaddy and Sedo? I know on Sedo you can do it. and Godaddy told me it's impossible but since godaddy and sedo are partners now why not? I haven't seen any paid godaddy auctions use this technique of piggybacking that doesn't mean no one has. maybe I just haven't seen one. but definitely SEDO it's rampantly being used.

can you comment on this? thanks for the help.

What do you mean by piggyback?

Please pm me as this is not the place to discuss this.

Your in a great position to reap those rewards...as most of your VR domains are using Chat/Cams/Adult keywords.

FX
