It's been over a year, but i'll still mention it here, not a huge sale but the roi was great.
Domain was BEYY.Com, bought it for just over 50 bucks, sold it for 500 within a couple of weeks.

Starting to invest and make small profits for the year 2015, no sales worth mentioning, but it's a long year ahead and i hope it's going to be a good one. Good luck to all!

Depends on the name. Some I could get a reply after just 1 or 2 emails, others I'll get a reply after 10 or 15. But I contact very targeted leads. Before I acquire a name I sit and think about who would want it and how I would pitch it, then I tally who my prospects would be.

Each name there has a unique value to the person who purchased it.

80/20 rule applies to domaining IMO. 80% research/acquisitions, 20% selling/emailing/calling.

Bigger than I'd like. It's grown from 350 to about 500 over the last year and I'm already finding it difficult to keep track of what I have. Not sure how people manage with thousands of domains! But, that's probably because I'm an organizational disaster.
