@michaeljkrell Do you know how long it takes for a name to be reviewed once submitted to BB?

Nowadays it takes around 3 weeks, but they are working on getting this down to 1 week. To be honest, its a bit long, but worth it! Namerific is much faster in review, but then you are obliged to wait for months for the logo, or pay the $25 for the instant logo thing...Your call, but I still believe in BB :)

No offense but i wonder why you make so many sales via BB than everybody else who has listed same amount of domains. Maybe just because you are one of the partners and whenever end user emails you asking for help choosing good brandable domain you send him the list of your own domains posted on bb and if they dont find any interesting you let em choose from others. Also I think that no matter how many people are waiting for their domains to be approved you give respect to your chosen domains and let em go in front the loooooong line. I just smell some fishy actions here...

If there is a marketplace where 7103 domains are listed and you are the owner of 1/7th of them (around 1000 domains) then every 7th domain in the whole marketplace is yours.
I have 10 listed domain on BB, it is 0,0014 % of their whole portfolio.
With 1000 listed domain the percentage is: 14%

He saw the possibility and invested in it. There is nothing wrong about it.

First, off. Thanks for kind words everyone!

Yes, I do have a significant portion of the BB portfolio (~11%), but this didn't happen overnight; I started out with 20-30 names a little over a year ago. Also, my submitted names do not jump ahead of anyone else in the queue, I can guarantee that.

Right now, I think the submission queue is around 10-14 days. Feel free to PM me with any other questions.

Thanks,
Michael

Dear Pros,

Sold: Robo/Slots/dot/com

Got initial bid for min offer that i set to $10.
I replied with low $xxxx (considering similar name sales history)
A month later got 2nd offer of $200 (may be from the same guy, not sure)....sensed I am in safe waters but just wanted to try my luck n pushed into GD auction.

Regd for $2 n Sold for $200, thats 100x ROI...a fine day!

Again thank to u Pros, especially @Magicpig2 & @TotalWebsites , they advised me to hold on to this name, else I would had sold it to a $2 offer!

Cheers!!

Wow, congratulations dv82.

How much did you get the domain for? And did you know its worth $25k when you bought it?

Thanks. I have a background in recruitment and executive search and I do know that risk management and compliance is a vertical in which lots of money is being made. Most risk management job sites charge $500 for a single ad and are big money making machines so the buyer got a good deal on the domain and I'm happy too.
