Congrats on your first sale. Perfect timing too. People have been getting married there for quite sometime and the musuem ( Blue Mountains Leuralla Toy & Railway Museum ) that bought your name decided they'd create a separate wedding site from their main site. There's some beautiful rich history behind Leuralla. You did good to pick that domain name up during the time you did.:sold:

Thanks for that tip FX :)

I just sold Milk Smashing on Sedo buy now for $249
Hand reg .com with .99 w/GD coupon

Repped and many thanks again! :) :) :)

Well the GD 60 day lock has kicked in.
The buyer wants to wait until the lock expires (43 days) to transfer the domain.
So that's 43 days until I can collect payment. :(

makes more sense if the buyer just has the domain pushed to GD, at least this way they can make use of there new purchase instead of waiting around.

Lennco maybe ask your transfer rep if the buyer can just allow a push to GD, that way they get the domain faster and they can move it later on?

I did do that but the buyer does not want to open a GD account.
Funny, if you buy a Fad domain you need to start using as soon as possible before the fad ends.

Thanks, but they wont do that because that will start the 60 day lock all over again and the buyer would have to wait even longer.

Has sedo received funds for the domain ?

Has sedo received funds for the domain ?

Yep, my money is just sitting there waiting for me to blow it on more domains...lol

Its really no big thing, its just more annoying then anything, especially since I have a lot more interest in it now from other buyers since yesterdays article and who would transfer it now.

Good luck man. I've had a lot of blown sales over this same reason. Can't understand how people are willing to pay even x,xxx but don't want to setup an account which takes literally 1 minute.

Why do domainers use godaddy ? They know they'll have to cope with lockdown when a domain is pushed.
The average user I understand but domainers ?

I guess the main thing the buyer paid, he/she must be a domainer and saw the post on elliotsblog yesterday, and I guess that's another domainer that doesn't like godaddy lol

the buyer got a good deal it's not the correct wording for the internet craze as it should be
( gallon smashing ) as thats what the three teens called it when they started the craze and continue to do so... but I still think milk smashing sold cheap.

Why?
In a word...Pricing :)
That and I personally love their control panel over other registers, I also love their auctions.

I had started with Network Solutions in 1998 then Register.com and tried enom and 1n1 and I cant stand any of them.

I have always dealt with the 60 day lock and 99% of the time its no problem but once in a blue moon it is annoying.
That being the only real problem I have with GD, I still wouldn't go anywhere else. :)
