Shoot... and I told you strumming.com was better than your asking price... should have put my money where my mouth is :)

I felt bad stealing it from you....so you owe me :)

I remember that! My price then was for an opening bid at Sedo but it was still very low.

The guy who bought it has a site, riffninja.com and he snapped up strumming immediately after I contacted him. At least it will have a good home :tu:

still doing $1k a week not bad considering it's a easy hobby.

well it depends on how many domains you have to renew :talk:

I own 500 all renewed long ago -- I use the parking rev... each domain cover's its own renewal and they pay for themselves -

nice sale. i guess this one sold to a german or european buyer? lampen means lamps in german. and hyphens are not "hated" here but used a lot (and sometimes even prefered by endusers).
I even sold .info with hyphen to german enduser

right. if you make only $1 from parking for each domain each month, thats more than enough to renew that name for "free".

but there are many good names with no parking income too. the cost for renewing these names must then be covered by the sales.

Congrats! I don't know about you, but I always feel pretty good when I see a good name find a good end-user and then get developed :)

I just sold AnimatedTShirts dot com for $400. Not as much as I had hoped but still a massive ROI and anyway it's Christmas!! :)

Also the buyer has a serious development plan in place it seems. :)

Still not a bad sale at all. Did he contact your or did you reach out to him? How long did it take to finalize everything?

He reached out to me in what I can only describe as my fastest ever domain sale. All in all with negotiation, payment and pushing it took 1 hour 40 minutes or so. :)

Fast sale indeed; congrats! Did you negotiate him or her up to $400? Or was that the original offer?
