Delisted from Atom in 2024, but left on Afternic… The domain later expired and went to auction. Repurchased it in Feb 2025 (uncontested auction bid). Relisted on Atom as a Plus Listing ($1,988) and also reduced the price on Afternic. In May 2025, the buyer purchased it via Atom.

The domain ultimately ended up at GoDaddy. Not sure why it wasn’t purchased there instead.

Thankful that I was able to win it back.

Channeled my disappointment towards alternatives. Nothing I came up with was as nice as the original one I failed to secure, but “pactical” kept coming to mind as the one to take a chance on. It was registered at the time but was nearing expiration. Added it to my watchlist and registered it after it dropped. Sold 5+ months later.

Thankful for Atom.

This sale was very timely. The payments went toward resolving some other matters.
Can’t share the domain name just yet, as it hasn't sold.
Only including these details about it here because it was a significant chunk of my 2025 revenue.

Afternic

Afternic was rough for me in 2025: technical issues, payment delays, deadness, and more. Morale dropped and I even pulled all listings for a while.

Currently, less than half of my portfolio is listed there. That said, I believe in the power of Afternic, and I’m planning to give Afternic a proper reset in 2026: DDC Pro, GoDaddy Auctions, improved inventory, optimized pricing, etc.

Hopefully, much better results ahead? We’ll see how things go.


Overall

2025 ended up being a strong year, though there were some serious struggles, in and beyond domaining, especially earlier in the year. So grateful that God helped me make it through. Thank You, God!
