This is flawed logic.

So what? Will they pick it up and be asking the same question?

Tons of people speculate on domains that never go onto sell.

The question you need to ask yourself is does the name have value.

Well your registration cost in the whole. I wouldn't renew anything that didn't make me any cash to be honest. Unless your gonna find a way to increase its value I would let it go. Heck if yah wanna throw away $10 a year for nothing in return ill take the donation.

I agree 100% with johname. This name will get picked up on the expired list real quick. If anything put it up on the $1 auctions. At least you will get something back.
