When you click the little clock icon next to the date on a post it brings up date info, but it doesn't show hours, which is the time used on auctions.

There should be a portion that says: Posted: 37 Hours Ago. This would make it a lot easier when viewing in auctions

in the code, you can make a conditional statement if you don't want to show on really old post, like only show if number of hours is less than 4380 hours (6 months) for example, and also only offer this in the auctions category if you wanted.

You could also code it to only show under posts in auctions category that are not from the original poster/seller, and have number of hours posted directly under each post in thread

Do you mean that you want it to always show hours, even if it's more than 1 day?

Tip: If the auction ends 72 hours after the last bid, selecting the "72 hours after" in the screenshot above will give you the exact date and time of that, so you can set an alarm or calendar entry.

Yes, after 1 day it should continue with hours.

I don't really understand the need for all the 24, 48 72.... hours after when you could just put Posted: 39 Hours Ago.

If this was my site, I would have it show "Posted: 39 Hours Ago" in the bottom of each post or the top header section next to the date of each post, and code it so it would only show up in the Auctions category and only on post replies and not on the OPs posts

Having people easily see the hours is a core functionality of the auctions posts
