Dear NP ADMIN,

It is becoming more and more irratating for me and my fellow members to see dumb, stupid noob posts on threads. Members frequently see UNWANTED names when they even post in the names wanted they only want certain type of names. It irrates me to see noobs appraise low xx on an obviously good name to try and devalue it.

I would like RJ to impose a 1 warning system for people who have registered on np for less then 3 months. 1 warning and they cant post anywhere except the newbie forum.

It would be easy for members to report noob posts.

Let me know,
Sam

Post your domains for sale or for free appraisals.

---
Do NOT be offended by the appraisals you receive, as they reflect opinions from individuals who are volunteering their opinions and experience for free. In the end, the value of the domain is what it actually sells for, not what others think its worth.

Don't like or want the appraisals, don't post asking for them.

#1 - Who is the "Almighty" person who will choose who is a noob ? .... I might Still consider you to be one really Sam .... Should we limit Where we allow you to post Because I feel this way ?

As far as the people posting Domains not fitting the criteria in "domains wanted" .... There is a "Report Post" Button on every post in this forum. If people use it instead of making Threads like this ... Actions will be taken. We can't read Every single thread or every single post , We also Do not have special powers that tells us someone is Grumbling to themselves over a thread being crashed - HELP us out and actually report things instead ;)

Im not talking about my names sv... I mean people spamming random appraisals for np so they can register a domain. I saw some with low xxx for a 3 letter .com! And the reversal, a XXX or XXXX appraisal for a clearly subpar name (i mean a real obvious one, the kid didnt know what he was talking about at all)

Sam,
It is true that appraisals can be wrong, or outrageous.

But a few things to remember:
1) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - The appraiser could genuinley think that it's worth XXXX amount.
2) We were all "noobs" once (or still are, well we all are, name one person on this planet who knows everything) - Help them, don't hurt them.
3) If you don't like the appraisal, ignore it, plain and simple.

If someone is new, and doesnt realise the worth a LLL.com, and they appraise $xx, why not just let them know politely that LLL.com are worth.... bla bla bla.

I didn't know the worth of most domains until I came here, and learned.

Regards,
Rhett.
