Hey guys, I'm not really sure where this thread fits so I'm posting it here in General discussions. Mods please assign it to relevant category as you see fit.
So I'm fairly new with domaining and my doubt is how safe are registrations with private-labeled websites such as nettigritty.domains(they sometimes offer sick discounts). They themselves offer multi tier separate private-labeled copy as part of their reseller program. Is it an issue/Can it be an issue in the future if say you register from a so called private label which happens to be a chain of multiple resellers? What if they decide to drop out of the reseller business? After buying privacy with domain how can we confirm what details have been shared with ICANN and if the domain is held under our account or the labeled registrar.
