Registering Names with GoDaddy Reseller Hurts Sales

I've been registering a few names with a godaddy reseller, Domains.Searchen.com because the owner of another forum gives 3000 forum dollars per registration. I haven't thought about this before, but does registering the name with a godaddy reseller, or any lesser used registrar hurt your chances of making a sale? I have names with at least 6 different registrars now, and I know it be a pain to sign up for another. What are your thoughts?

If I want a name that is only pushable to a reseller I will get an account & then transfer name if needed. I don't have any problems with them...in fact I went & got my own reseller account. I love it. I don't actually sell names there though...I price high enough that people don't buy...I just use it to give myself & a couple of friends special pricing (my cost)...
