advice Registering domains already on other extensions

Is it ideal to register domains already registered on many other extensions?
Why? why not?

Please help me out guys.

PS: I'm registering to resell later. I need to know the effect on resell value.

Hi -- domains in .COM/.NET with a lot of other registrations can be a sign that the keywords being used are valuable or wanted online.

Be careful and always consult TESS to verify no trademarks are being infringed upon.
