Registering bulk domains

I have some domains that I would like to register and to be more cost effective, I would like to register them as a bulk.

I have searched for hosts providing bulk domain registering and found some that look pretty good but before I choose anything I would like to hear from you as well, from people with experience and more knowledge in this area, that I am sure can offer a broader perspective.

What are some good bulk providers, what are their rates, rates after the first year, number of domains that can be registered, advantages, disadvantages of bulk registering, and if there is anything else that I should be aware of.

If you put about $500 in your account at Dynadot.com you can buy .coms for about $7.50 I think. And if you go with ResellerClub.com it's about the same but they have a special this month on .coms for $4.99 each - no limit!!! I have been buying many more than I should at that price...!
