I have a domain that, unfortunately, I have hosted with them. I also have hosting and email. The website is used when one of my wireless clients logs onto our hotspot. If the website is down, so is our hotspot.
Earlier this month the domain needed to be renewed. I renewed it and got a notice that it was going to have to be transfered, uh ok. So stupidly, I let them transfer it. Again my site and email went down. I logged into my plesk, which actually worked that time, and saw that my hosting/email was disabled becase my domain expired. So another hour on hold waiting to talk to a customer rep. Finally when I spoke with them I was told that the reason everything was down was because of maintenance, later that day it was back up. In that same coversation I asked about transfering the domain, they stated because it had recently been transfered to them that I could not transfer it for 60 days. I explained to the rep that this was my business that they were disabling and was told to iniate the transfer that they would approve it, well another rfly lie.
Today, again, my site is down. Another hour on hold with rf and they tell me that they are doing maintenance on the server. When I aske about transfering my domain, the rf rep hung up on me! What are these people thinking?

What can be done in this case. My domain is kidnapped. >:(

Thinking does not occur there. You need to try somewhere else for that type of service.

BTW-Their site appears down at this very moment and it appears any domains hosted there are encountering DNS server errors-At least from my end.

I am trying to move my service. However, they are now telling me that because I renewed my domain that I cannot transfer for 45 days. I don't believe this to be true because I have renewed domains and transfered, sometimes right after I renewed, and had no problems.

My understanding is that because they transfered it to their new registar is the reason I cannot transfer my domain.

Does this sound right?

Sorry that had to happen.

But http://registerflies.com/ is entirly true. They do scam people and this whole transfer to there ICANN account is retared.. They are loosing more domains then they are registering.

When you have
Results 1 - 10 of about 873 for registerfly sucks

When you have 873 results for "yourcompanyname sucks" you know you have a problem.

If you are same airwav as who has these listings: http://www.afternic.com/names.php?best=1&u=46262
I am saying - good, I wish more companies screw with you for how did you screwed with me on Afternic !
LOL, you found me here too... ;)

Just an fyi, denny is upset because afternic made him pay for a name that I no longer owned. Unfortunately, I did not update my afternic email, I totally forgot about having names with them since they did not sale any domains and/or send me big bucks in parking. Afternic called me yesterday, after having this fellows cash and asking me to sell him the domain, which I no longer own.
I am in the process of moving my domains to sedopro.

Bottom line, afternic should not have accepted his money UNTIL I APPROVED THE SALE.
