Registerfly Help please

Hi Everyone

I am having around $ 400 in my account with registerfly. As they denied returning the money which is in my account. I thought of using it and will register domains.

Anyone knows some coupon for registerfly which is working ? They are charging $10.41 for new domains which is quite a big money. But even if i have to register at this price, i will do to recover th pending $ 400 in my account.

Sorry I dont have a coupon, but I will say that RegFly is still up to their old tricks.
I got an email last week to re reg a name they lost for me last year... after I had paid them and they showed it in my account it dropped and was picked up.

It still shows in my account... so if I was not paying attention I could send them the money for an unavailable name.

My advice... reg the names to burn up your account $ and move them asap.

I completely agree, I had an email from them asking me to renew a domain that I sold last year. The new owner had transfered it to a different registrar and they still showed it in my account. I verified with the new owner that he had it and he does.

I'm getting daily emails reminding me to renew a domain expired in March of 07. The domain is not at registerfly and has had an expiration of 2008 since at least early this past summer.

If you have a balance, you really have nothing to lose by trying to get something for it. Just make sure it is available before committing that account money, verify the whois at a third party source afterwards to assure they actually registered it, and MOVE IT OUT AS QUICKLY AS THE RULES ALLOW.

Im in almost the same situation.I have $150 with registerfly. I tried to buy some names using the quickcheckout, but it doesn't let me. Does anyone has this issue too? So I am basically asking if you were able to use the available funds when checking out.

When I try to log in there (to use up my own $xxx account balance), I get one of these warning popups:

"Unable to verify the identity of RegisterFly.com as a trusted site."

Their certificate doesn't match up, or something.

You should always be concerned with them.

BTW the message you is because they issued their own SSL certificate and it's not a known trusted entity like Verisign, GlobalSign, RSA etc that your browser recognizes. Just that.

It's amazing they are still able to even have access to the Internet let alone still run a business selling domains! there is another thread like this a few post up...
