here's a generous promo we've had ongoing for a while that you all can take advantage of

existing customers can refer new customers to get the new customer 50 free transfers up to $552, and you as the existing customer get $1 for every transfer they make, or $2 if they transfer over 25 (so up to $100). existing customers should email [email protected] with their referral cc'd to get their promo code. attempting to game the promo by making multiple accounts or referring yourself will result in penalties

terms apply (similar to our ongoing automatic $5.50 off all transfers promo). for domains receiving free transfers: if you transfer the domain out before 1 year, you have to repay full price of the free transfer before you get the auth code (max $11.05, our regular .com transfer price) . if you stay over 1 year then you can transfer out after 1 year with no repayment of the free transfer in discount. basically - to get the full benefit of the free transfers, you need to keep the domain at UD for at least 1 year. and FYI - we do not allow transfer out if the domain is post expiry without renewing first.

Interesting promo. I am not yet a customer and am considering this promo from a friend. A few questions;

1- Once I'm 'referred' and acquire 50 free transfers up to $552 - is there an expiry? That is, do I have to make these transfers within any time period?
2- What if the transfers are for alt TLDs (non coms). Let's say those TLDs have $25 renewals. Am I correct to understand that I'd receive $552/$25 or 22 domain transfers in this example (instead of 50 coms)? Or is this promo only for .com?
3- Assuming it is for alt TLDs, does the promo apply to registry premium domains where the renewal fee is, for example, $500? So I'd get 1 free transfer in this example?
4- As with any transfer, am I correct to understand I will receive a 1 year extension on the renewal date?
5- Am I able, literally, on day 367 to transfer away from UD without penalty? Not saying I need/want to do this - but want to know if I am able to do this without penalty.
6- You also have a transfer promo that has a cap of $2k per user. Would this promo be cumulative or would it reduce that promo? That is, would I as a newly referred user, be able to receive $552 of free transfers from this refer-a-friend promo and $2k in transfers ($2552 total), or would there instead be $1,448 transfers remaining for my account?

I think like the other half price promo even more so here on free transfer u would be subject to 2nd year renewal to get code. or pay full fee during 1st yr

If the current validity period is more than one year, can I transfer it to another company one year after the transfer is completed without additional cost?

Domainers think UD give free money or something, just drop some weak domains and you don't have to through all this crappy procedure, examining every word of their promotion.
Of course the promotion benefits them not yourself.
I personally find this type of promotions atrocious, transfering my names to a company that can't afford to buy a proper domain for their brand.

good questions. answers below:

1. the promo codes we give out usually expire in 1 month. in the email to [email protected] you can ask for longer (no guarantee we will extend it though)
2. the promo applies to all TLDs. you will receive max $11.05 off each transfer up to the $552 limit. meaning you'll get 50 .coms (or anything cheaper) free. anything more expensive will get max $11.05 off per transfer. you can see our pricing here https://unstoppabledomains.com/dns-pricing

5. yes. even if the domain has expired at that point, we have a 40 day grace period before you'd need to restore it in order to transfer out. (this policy is completely separate from the transfer promo)
6. yes, every dollar saved through the program here would eat into your $2k cap. so if you max out this promo you'll have $1448 in automatic 50% off transfer discounts remaining. we may alter this $2k cap in the future
