Do you believe real love will come in your life?

( if it is already in your life... how old were you when you met 'the one'? )

Love (well to me) does not exist.

I'm talking about the finding your soulmate kind of love. Not the family and friends kind of love.

Thanks for the advice for the thread Humdizzy.

( this thread is about "love as in a life partner" )

Well, you think you find someone and then something happens. Its a tough game. Don't under commit but don't over commit.

It really comes down to friendship. I believe in friendship.

Yes, I was Faisj. I was always thinking about finding someone. Now that I look back on it I wish I had just enjoyed myself and had the confidence that I would find someone. But that's hindsight. Everything just fell into place like it was meant to be. It just wasn't on my timetable.

Most people will probably say I don't know what love is, but I found it at 14. I have been with her for 3 years now.

I don't believe in "soulmates"

To me, you take one day at a time and work with whatever that may bring.

I do believe in "love" though, but I believe there are many different contexts in which love can be seen. What someone believes is "love" may be a completely different feeling to what another person believes.
One person may believe that love is about passion and lust, while another may believe love comes in the form of security and a stable relationship.

It all depends how you view and interpret specific feelings.

To be honest, I don't think anyone can make the judgement that they have found their "true love". I think that situations can change and people may feel differently in time passed. You never know what might happen, but the best you can do is go with the flow and follow your head and heart.

But never look at the situation in which there might be someone better out there for you. If you have found someone you are truely comfortable with then hold on to them tight and do everything you can to not let them drift away from you.

Love is like a life ring floating on the ocean in a storm, if you don't embrace it and keep hanging on through the toughest times, it may just drift away and you might drown.

I don't believe in "perfect" love, coz it's always imperfections in the love, that makes it worth loving someone :)
