Please tell us some more about your website ... age / traffic details / success with reciprocal links / revenue / page rank / SEO / advertising / membership(s) / additional content / active sites linking back to yours, active links from your site, etc. :gl: :talk:

Real Estate Available Website

Hi Jeff,

I started this site in July, set up with GoDaddy. Below are the GoDaddy stats, with the last number being page requests. I haven't had much time to work with the promotion, but I think the http://www.RealEstateAvailable.com domain should be very attractive to end user.

Each state has a page, which has targeted adsense revenue. It has been just a few dollars but is steadily increasing. This is all very new, so the name has barely been marketed. The phrase Real Estate Available gets 359,000,000 hits on Google, and the exact phrase 'real estate available' gets 231,000.

I'd love to develop this site, but but my other business (property management software - www.TenantFile.com) takes all my time.

I have other good real estate and other names at a site called http://www.DirectFromTheNet.com. The prices are high to scare away the tire kickers...

Really, I mean a few... just $15.00 in a month from adsense. (The other name RentHomes.us brings in about $30.00 per month just from type-ins). On the plus side, however, if you type in 'real estate available' at www.msn.com, it is ranked #1 out of 32,000,000 and in www.yahoo.com, it is ranked #7 out of 86,000,000.

There are over 1,000 links on my site because I have it set up that they can create their own link, as long as it is real estate related. Many of these are reciprocal links, but I don't require that.

I'm sure (that as a novice) there is a lot more I could do with the name, especially since I also reserved all of the related names, such as the .net, .info, .biz, and .us versions, too.

Rent Homes .us is a very good name in my opinion, i think the type ins from this name must be growing steadily and witha little promotion this could become a really high traffic name. Google stats are good for it too (just from type ins). The worth of the name alone is low xxx or more and with the revenue stats, i think 30*12= 360, so basically you should be looking for anythign over 500$

Thanks so much for the replies! Khuldun, one question. You said with the right promotion RentHomes.us could do better than it currently is doing ($30.00 per month average for type-ins). I am pretty familiar with promotion of web sites and search words, but what can you do to promote type-ins?

I was under the impression that any type of promotion of a type-in (like paying for hits) could violate the traffic regulations (TrafficClub.com). Is that right, or can other kinds of promotion be done without any problem? I'm pretty new to this, so I'm sure I'm missing something. Thanks again for your assistance!
