Questions about taking over a gnu affero general public license script

My questions are directly related to this script: http://jisko.org/

1. I want to continue development on this script, can I change the name of the script and setup a new website with forums etc as long as I keep the original license info in tact?

2. If I'm able to change the name, do I still need to say who the original authors were?

a quote from the license:

Developers that use our General Public Licenses protect your rights with two steps: (1) assert copyright on the software, and (2) offer you this License which gives you legal permission to copy, distribute and/or modify the software.

The main site for jisko clearly states that the project will no longer be developed by the current developers.
