Would you type in longer names?

I have never used a mobile device to surf the internet myself, it is not that big in Canada, however, Blackberries are very popular now so the trend will be growing...

I am looking at a lot of available .mobi names and some seem really good, if they were .coms I would have them in a heartbeat... most are good two word combinatins that get up around 12-15 letters...

Would you type that in if you knew there was a site developed there that might be useful?

Thanks!!

I believe for .mobi short is sweet. However, I myself have ONE long "14 char" name but for the most part, I would say try to keep .mobi names under 9-10 characters.

I have a treo 650 and have been using the web on my mobile for 2+ years now. With my qwerty key pad I can handle a 13-14 character .mobi but I don't know how thrilled i'd be typing that on a number pad because obviously T9 text won't work for non-dictionary domains.

using a PDA device i find longer names are fine, but when it comes to norm cells having 3-4 is ideal.. but with all these new phones coming out that have full qwerty style keypads, I dont think longer names will be unpopular in the future

Thanks for the responses! I agree that short is sweet, and there are still some nice generic one worders out there, but they just don't seem to really jump out at me in .mobi...
