Hi, I own several domains relating to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Canada. 2010winter.com, 2010whistler.com, 2010canada.info, winter2010.info and vancouvercanada.ca among others.
As the Olympics grows closer more and more people will be searching for information therefore I assume the more popular these domains may become. Right now winter2010.com (I have opposite 2010winter.com) is receiving about a million hits per day or so they say according to the news as this is the official site of the Vancouver Olympics. I bought these domains hoping to sell about 1-2 years away (which is now) thinking someone or some company would want to take advantage of these names. Do appraisers take the future value of the names into consideration? Any idea what these names might be worth?

It is expected that Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games will be the biggest and most watched winter games in history as there hasn’t been a North American time zone Olympics in many years ( ie get to see events live on TV rather than tape delay). Events are split between two different places as per usual with winter games, the mountain events are in the mountains and the rest of the events are in the host City. Whistler is the # 1 resort in the world and it’s about an hour and a bit away from Vancouver and it is where the major skiing events are being held thus I bought 2010whistler.com.
Any advice or help on what to do, what to expect in relating to appraising and selling these domains. These domains may not be worth much now but all of these factors and future potential need to be taken into consideration when estimating the value and come the opening ceremonies and the estimated 3 BILLION people that will be watching just the opening ceremonies I would think that there would be a lot of internet traffic to these sites. Let alone the rest of the games. Any advice would be appreciated.
