Question about brokers etc..

So I was doing a search on one of my domains and landed on a website said my domain was for sale. This peaked my interest since the domain was NOT for sale. I hit the "buy this domain" link... to inquire about the domain.

The company said the domain is for sale and told me a price and the seller is flexible on their price... I was like "What the heck"

I emailed and told them a price I wanted to pay and they said they will take that offer and see what the seller say.. I am just waiting for the email to come in on my own asking price...

This shall be fun any thoughts/ideas on why they do this?

How long have you owned the domain? Were you the original registrant? Sometimes old lists hang around a long time. But it may also be what you think it is :(

Well over a year... I think I let it drop before then re-snagged it...

Had that happen to me before. It turned out they were going off an old list!

Well if anybody owned it before you or between your ownerships. It could just be a listing by that owner. Nothing nefarious :)
