Hi all,

Here comes a noob question.

I just sold a domain to an end-user who wants to put the website he uses with his old domain to the new one. Both his old and the new acquired domain are at GoDaddy. And I believe he's using GoDaddy's web hosting aswell.

So, how can that be done?

Also, puting the same site on the new domain is of course much better than just redirecting the new domain to the old one, right?

This can be accomplished using domain pointers which is simply using an add-on domain to point to the same hosting account the other domain is pointing to. Simply just a dns modification. But be careful doing this as Google does not take well to sites that are mirrors of each other. Google likes unique content.

if you put the same websites on two domains, then you get duplicate content, if i where you i would host at one webhoster and just forward/redirect the other domain name to that hosting.
