PushToAuction.com is a free service for sellers who wish to advertise domains that they are willing to push to auction at Sedo™ for $60. No signup is required, and listing a domain is quick and easy.

The advantage to sellers is that they no longer have to wait to be noticed in the crowd of millions of domains at Sedo™. If you know your domain is valuable, you can get it the exposure it deserves quickly. There are even special categories of Acronyms (short domains) so buyers can quickly find what's hot, CVCV.com, VCVC.com, LLL.com, LLLL.com, etc.

The advantage to buyers is that they not only get a chance for a steal, they also save time because they don't have to pour through hundreds of listings on Sedo™ only to make an offer that gets countered with $1 Million. Buyers know the seller is willing to let their domain go at fair market value, so there is no frustration.

The system checks Sedo™ periodically throughout the day to move listings into the Current Auctions section that have already been pushed to auction, and to move auctions that have already ended into the Past Auctions section. Because we are not relying on the seller to keep the listing status updated, buyers will not waste time clicking on bad links. Also, the system automatically rejects any domain that isn't already listed at Sedo.

I'm not sure if Sedo will show the price of a closed auction, I guess we'll see in a few days, but I think they do.

Thanks for the support Krossat, good luck with the listing! The script is PHPLD, but it is heavily modified on the back end to automatically check if domains are listed at Sedo, and if so, approve them. It also automatically checks if they were pushed to auction and moves them to the current auctions category, and checks when the auction is done and moves them to the past auctions category. That way the site can pretty much run itself and I don't have to spend hours a day doing admin duties.

The site has been growing steadily. We've had 25 auctions completed and there are currently 10 running. There are over 400 listings on the site, and we've sent over 25,000 hits to Sedo listings since starting the site.
