Hi, Everyone

I use Name.com and has accidently pushed one of my domains to a wrong account. Name.com rep told me contact the owner of that account and ask him to push the domain back to my account, since there's nothing else they can do.
The owner of that account doesn't respond to my emails. Is there's anything else I can do to get the name back?

Thank you,

Find out his phone number and keep calling him.
Just because you made a mistake it doesn't mean he gets to keep it.
Maybe he's out of town or something though...

Esculate the matter to a higher level person at Name.com.

Many registrars that have push systems know darn well they don't have adequate safeguards for such mistakes. Better registrars will work to make things right - but they won't advertise doing so - again, esculate the matter.

Yeah it is very nice that you got the domain back. You need to be VERY careful when pushing a domain to another account. Technically, you are the person physically typing in the info for the receiving account. So you need to pay attention to what your doing. Some registrars even ask you before clicking push if your sure you want to push. Because you are actually entering the receiving account details, it would be much harder to get the domain back. It is hard to explain to the registrar that a push you initiated was an accident unless your account was hacked or hijacked.
