Hello Pros,
Recently I have sold a domain in GoDaddy auction.
GoDaddy has verified the payment and ask me to email the buyer.
In my past experiences as a buyer I never contact the sellers, GoDaddy will move the domains to my account latter.
Is that the same if I do nothing, the domain will be pushed to buyer's account automatically?
I got email from buyer who asking me to push the domain to his account, but I am not sure if he is the buyer or not?
Or I have to manually push my domain to GoDaddy’s holding account. Then they will help me to do the rest?

Sorry for a newbie's dump question, please help. Thank you!

In your Auctions account, if you select "Selling List" and "Sold" and then at the specific domain you sold it should have a link for "Email buyer". I would use that link, since you don't want to risk pushing to the wrong account. Odds are it's your buyer who is contacting you, but better to play it safe.

It is a far from optimal platform for sellers, but you don't want to "do nothing" because you will need to do the work that GoDaddy SHOULD be doing here.

Best of luck!

Now that I think of it, the buyer probably used their "Contact seller" link to email you. It's a lousy interface, really.

Thank you so much for your help.
It's really wired for me that I don't know the buyer's GoDaddy ID nor his email address. Though I can email him, but I can not verify if he is the buyer.
Do I need to push my domain to GoDaddy’s holding account then ask them to do the following?

Problem is, they don't have a holding account, at least in this case. They don't operate like Sedo does.

You might want to use online chat or call to confirm email address of your buyer.
