Purchase domain per email

Hello everyone,

I recently got an e-mail from someone who is willing to purchase my domain. The potential domain buyer is offering an amount which is way bigger then the domain value (estibot appraisal). My question is if it is possible or is it just a scam?

but i suspect that buyer may be yanking your chain

If they are talking about appraisals it's 100% a scam.

It is probably an appraisal scam where they will ask you to get a apprasial which you must buy through them or their associates

That is the mail I got. I am kind off new to all this domaining so i don't know a lot. But the offer price is unreal because at estibot and other domain appraisal the value of the domain is about 700$.

i'm going to help you (and hopefully others) see the basic flaw of logic, which just about every "new newbie" falls prey to.

this is where one (newbie) assumes that the first assumption is true, therefore any data in contrast or contrary to any other data, must be untrue.

2. so, you assume that, "the offer price is unreal"

3. why? ....

now, it's not your fault that you come to such conclusions, but it really is but you (newbies), have been led to believe.... therefore you do.
