Well proxies are a major thing on the internet.
I'm personally just starting out and want to try earn afew bucks per day.
Namepros doesn't really have any threads i've found that help out proxy owners/ newbies.
I myself am a newbie aswell. I'm still learning alot but have picked up afew ideas and such to keep it alive.

#1 Putting your words like Proxy/Bypass/Filter into a image so that it cannot be picked up if any schools have programs that read pages. (my school has this feature)

I haven't got really anymore to add but i hope members can contribute.
People who are experienced with proxies or have any tips/tricks please post them here to help out others, I may Sticky this thread and reward NP$ to people who help out :tu:

Keep the word myspace, facebook, bebo, proxy, proxies prox, proxi etc out of the domain I would recommend if you have any is develop your LLL.com/.nets and LLLL.com/.com also LLNN or whatever work too the trick is just to keep it short.

Also as nyunyu has put it you also need to keep these words out...

avoid terms that can relate to proxy such as block, bypass, unfilter, surf, in your domains. These terms are getting blocked fast.

E.g. a domain name like proxybypass.com is going to kill your proxy in the long term short term I sure it will do great.

Also if you want to make money from your proxy use Adsense and PayPopUp I'm getting around $1.27 CPM+ for proxy traffic.

i just block all chinese traffic because of the fact that most of them do not know English and my adsense account is too precious for me to get banned like that just for a few cents of earnings

The best thing about proxies is you can use any random domain that you have. So if you buy a domain which isnt very good jut turn it into a proxy.

usually i do submit a lot and link a lot on proxy topsites, that way people will get your web proxy.
another is investing some money to be included on proxy.org which im still hesitant to do.

Don't be! I tried the top 10 listing with just one of those basic listings and made twice the amount and the traffic is still continuing. Only problem is it used a lot of bandwidth so there really are no negatives if you have a dedicated server.

You can use the software, glype or phproxy. Hosting on a VPS is generally less than $20 a month. Promotion is also not that hard.

Thanks We are currently getting a few sign ups a week. My goal is to get at least 500 proxy webmasters on there, which would easily make it the top proxy site on the internet, as their does not seem to be much competition. As well as make it an absolute wealth of knowledge for those looking to learn more about proxies.

Hey domainer, I like your forums and I joined, I would like to see an active forums board that is focused on only on proxy discussions.

Have you tried full page ads from adbrite on proxified pages ? It can increase your earnings.
