Parked Pages, do you think there are legitimate ways where you should be allowed to promote parked pages?

I do not mean tricking someone into clicking a link or incentivizing. But for example lets say you have a website filled with content on ONLINE GAMING, you know that google and yahoo really don't have ads since they cannot really promote gambling. So you say at the end of an article for a directory of ONLINE CASINOS click xxxxxx.com IT goes to a parked page with a Fabulous domain. Now the page looks exactly like a directory, their pages are the best looking gaming pages there are IMO. SO now if someone clicks the link and then clicks an ad I think that is a worthwhile prospect for the advertiser. He read an article, clicked a link to a list of online casinos HE obviously interested because he went to a site about online gaming in the first place.

That just one example, you could use a provider like domain spa which makes their pages look like sites, if it going to look like a site might as well promote it just so long as you do not mislead with crap like free money click here etc...

I know a lot of PPC will say no We want the type in because that shows the visitor was interested. But I see ads on adsense sometimes here it has stock ads MY first profession so I click an ad does that mean the advertiser wasted money because I did not come there through a type in? NO It does not Because the industry really has to say to the advertiser if type ins are the only really worthwhile leads then advertisers are getting 100% screwed with Adsense and YPN.

Would like to hear others opinions and remember I am not talking about buying traffic or bogus links, I am talking about using a ppc site as a directory in certain areas where adsense and ypn will not do that well, or where the ppc page looks like a site like www.kids.tv

Personally, I don't see the big deal in promoting parked pages. People are going to click on the links they are interested in whether they typed it in or came through a link. Just because you don't own the premium type-in shouldn't preclude you from offering people links to what they may be looking for.

However, all this may ultimately be a moot argument since our hypothesizing doesn't change the ppc co's TOS.

Personally, I hate it when I'm looking for info on something and get taken to a parked page with all sorts of pop ups and what not.
You do have a point about gambling sites though since google and other SEOs wont allow the advertising space anymore.

I think it all depends on who it is parked with and what there rules for parking are.

As a general rule, domain parking is for natural traffic or old website linking traffic. It is not a good idea to build up links for your parked domains. Most parking services forbid this and others don't like it either at least. If you don't have traffic, develop it to a website.

I was not asking if people could, I was making a statement that I believe in certain situations you should be allowed to promote a parking page. I am talking about using a parked page in unison with a developed site of yours not buying traffic or spamming anyone.

If you have onlinecasino.org you have a developed site about online casinos if you have a link that says for a list of online casinos CLICK HERE and it is a Parked Page I think that legitimate prospect I KNOW FABULOUS DOES NOT ALLOW I think they should and was asking others their opinion I KNOW THE TOS of every PPC company does not want that. But if you are an advertiser you have to question why you would ever have your ads on adsense or ypn then, BECAUSE the PPC companies are basically telling you any lead that does not come from type in is worthless.
