Parked Pages, do you think there are legitimate ways where you should be allowed to promote parked pages?
I do not mean tricking someone into clicking a link or incentivizing. But for example lets say you have a website filled with content on ONLINE GAMING, you know that google and yahoo really don't have ads since they cannot really promote gambling. So you say at the end of an article for a directory of ONLINE CASINOS click xxxxxx.com IT goes to a parked page with a Fabulous domain. Now the page looks exactly like a directory, their pages are the best looking gaming pages there are IMO. SO now if someone clicks the link and then clicks an ad I think that is a worthwhile prospect for the advertiser. He read an article, clicked a link to a list of online casinos HE obviously interested because he went to a site about online gaming in the first place.
That just one example, you could use a provider like domain spa which makes their pages look like sites, if it going to look like a site might as well promote it just so long as you do not mislead with crap like free money click here etc...
I know a lot of PPC will say no We want the type in because that shows the visitor was interested. But I see ads on adsense sometimes here it has stock ads MY first profession so I click an ad does that mean the advertiser wasted money because I did not come there through a type in? NO It does not Because the industry really has to say to the advertiser if type ins are the only really worthwhile leads then advertisers are getting 100% screwed with Adsense and YPN.
Would like to hear others opinions and remember I am not talking about buying traffic or bogus links, I am talking about using a ppc site as a directory in certain areas where adsense and ypn will not do that well, or where the ppc page looks like a site like www.kids.tv
