What are some unique and inventive ways to promote domain names parked with sedo? Just wondering what are we allowed to do? Can i purchase PPC advertising and direct them to my high paying parked domain names?

.US domains.US domains
Don't do this, it's against every PPC company TOS.

Are you nuts? they will just close your account and keep all your earnings if you do anything to promote your names. Generic type in traffic and any search engine traffic is all advertisiers want to target.

actually You are allowed to link to your "for sale" page. I got this from a Sedo Employee

What's the best and most affordable way to buy domains that get typin traffic.

I heard that one way to promote domain names is by developing them into minisites and getting enough links to have some traffic going. Of course, if you follow that road, there's nothing really stopping you from putting up a few adsense ads and keeping all the revenue, as opposed to sharing it with SEDO.

In short, from what I've seen so far, unless your domains are already getting traffic, there isn't much you can do to promote them, since it's either type-in traffic or people clicking on links to visit the website that used to be there.

That's good thing to promote the sale especially one who looks with great domain names. bit relief.

Yes I am aware of this I was just saying that it is against sedo rules to list names for sale in your sig :)

What about a website which lists the domain names that I have for sale on Sedo and links to the sale pages, as well as to the parked domains - is that against the rules as well?

Because if so, then I should seriously redesign my website before I lose my account.

Sincerely,
George

illegal and extremely annoying ... i wish forums would ban this ... you think cool someone put a site together, go to check it out just to see a sedo parking page. >:(

Adwords is firmly against this, but I'm sure some of the smaller PPC companies could care less....just as long as they're making $ from the clicks.

"You cannot include links to other wesites or your other parked pages. It is also against our parking policy to use other ppc on the Sedo parked page. Our parking program can only accept natural traffic. This is defined as type in or unpaid search engine query generated traffic. Traffic from paid sources, pop up or pop under software, link exchanges or any promotional source is not accepted." - straight from sedo yesterday...

I also emailed to sedo, it said you can list your name for sale, but you can not link it.
